There Should Have No Dress Codes In Schools

A high school boy walks into class with a cut off shirt on revealing his body. A highschool girl walks in the same class wearing a spaghetti strap tank top but gets dress coded. What is the difference between the two? Boys have close to no dress codes while girls are expected to cover up their body. Girls who wear spaghetti straps feel confident about their bodies enough to wear it, why should we shut them down? They say boys could get easily distracted by a girl’s body but, girls can get just as distracted. Teachers are being hypocrites against the dress codes, sexist even. Girls should not get discriminated for the dress code.

Girls can get just as distracted by a boys modesty. It’s equal. Not all boys and girls focus on each other’s bodies. The staff of several schools stereotype over sexuality. Staff need to change their opinions and choices then maybe us girls will too. Together we can change the opinion of everyone If students have certain standards teachers should too. Personally, I feel that teachers are sexist over the dress code. For example, some students can notice a girl teachers bra strap hanging out or see it when they wear a see-through shirt. As I said before teachers are huge hypocrites against dress codes. Why do girl students have to follow them when the teachers don’t always dress appropriately. This whole matter isn’t fair. There are many different opinions on this so some feel different than others.
To conclude this argument, discrimination of dress code needs to end now. Girls are insecure so let them be who they want. Boys don’t always get distracted and neither do girls. We all need to get over this and come equal as a human race. We’re all in this
