Therapist Reflective Journal

The therapist met with the client for an individual session. The therapist greeted the client and reviewed the main goals that the client identified in the last session. The therapist checked-in with the client and asked the client about his mood. The client reported that he feels irritable today as he felt suicide since morning when he wakes up he remembered that he has to suffer for another day. The client reported that during the last night was feeling okay and he slept without suicidal thoughts. The client reported that he likes the therapist to check with him all the time about his mood and his suicidal thoughts because he likes the support at the facility. The client read and sign the no harm contract for the second day and he stated, “I feel obligated to do what I signed for and I would like to sign one every day.” The client expressed his feelings about how he feels sorry about the client who discharged yesterday and because of his therapist will leave the facility by tomorrow to work in …show more content…
The client wished all the best for her therapist and he stated, “I did not really felt attached to you as we had only three sessions, but I do feel connected with you and helped me a lot in my crisis.” The client discussed with the therapist the triggers that he could feel at the facility such as one of his peers calling him that he is annoying which triggered the negative memories about the school bullying. Also, he reported that he does not want to have free time and he wants himself too busy all the time to not let his mind think about the suicidal thoughts. The client reported that he is sometimes hearing voices only when he feels angry and sometimes the voices are not clear in both ears. The client added that he can identify whether these voices are fighting or arguing or they are happy and
