The article examines a study using modified Theory of Planned Behavior to predict children’s exercise behaviors. The Theory of Planned Behavior suggests that activities such as exercising are influenced by intentions and in return are influenced by attitudes. The article shows the relationship between intentions to perform versus the actual exercise behaviors were strong with children 6 and older and moderate with those younger than 6 years old. The article concluded the gap between TPB behaviors only exists with the younger children. The results would benefit those companies marketing sports-related products and
