The belief is that the trait that we inherit are found in our genes because its who we are as human. humans learn new things every single day, as soon as we enter the world from the womb we slowly learn to adapt to new things such as our environment and objects around us. Influences from the outside askde from family is also important because it helps us develop into who we are and shapes our identity, but as far as nurturing goes everything starts in the comfort of your home.

In the aspects of growing up children usually develope a bad behavior, which is normal as kid in which they will grow and learn from it, children usually do bad things and get punished for it, the parent may want to put their kid in timeout for the actions he/she may have done, children soon realize that the action they do will get them put in the same spot they were last time. This shows us that the learning process in which we humans have to learn whats right and whats wrong brings us back to theory of nurture which is learning things and makes us who we are as humans.
As we grow older and wiser we are exposed to the outside world such as media and friends in which we can see things diffrently and can also change in who we are. we could be brought up being told that stealing is a bad thing or the average weight was ok, but the media and our friends can easily change and influence you. humans are constantly changing through out and we are easily influence by our peers or even the media but thats a fact and the theory of nature doesnt
