This theory is saying that was a lot of cells which got together and made bigger cells and after millions and millions of years there were different animals which changed to different animals which changed to apes which changed to Homo habilis, then to Homo erectus, then to homo sapiens and then finally to Homo sapiens sapiens. Basically he is saying that we are not here because that is what the God wanted; we are here because conditions on earth were very good for us to live in. I mean i have a friend who is a Muslim and what she told me was that she respects what other people think but does not think is true. She also said that at the end I might say, yes you were right Allah does exist and he just saved my life.
Of course when a lot of believers got angry with scientists as they found their own evidence, they made their own philosophical theories which would explain the scientific theories. One of those is called the ‘Intelligent design’. Intelligent design refers to a scientific research program as well as a community of scientists, philosophers who see evidence of design in nature. The theory of intelligent design is saying that certain features of the universe and of living things are best explained by an intelligent cause, not an undirected process such as natural selection.
The ‘first cause’ argument is saying that something started the universe or that something caused the beginning. Also if we trace this series of events back in time, then what do we find? There seem, at first glance, to be two possibilities: either we eventually reach the first event in the series, the cause at the beginning of the universe that set everything going, or there is no first event in the series and the past stretches back into
