I find myself reading romantic love stories and Green never to latch on to my emotions and attach me to his characters. When I read I drift off into a false reality and I love how John Green's books take me to that place. His words stick into my brain and his books capture my heart. The character development in Looking for Alaska was amazing. I felt so deeply connected to the characters which is why this book was so interesting. Once I started reading I did not want to put it down. John Green created a book full of mystery. He starts out with Before, but we have no idea what Before he is talking about. The way he leads the reader on to thinking about what he is talking about helps keep them focused. My only regret is how long it took for me to read this amazing
