Throughout the novel “To Kill a Mockingbird,” many themes are frequently introduced and expanded upon through characters and situations alike. In the novel “To Kill a Mockingbird,” the connotation of “right” and “left” takes a subtle change as the story progresses.
Annotated Bibliography In Laurie Champion’s analysis of “To Kill a Mockingbird,” she discusses the importance of the connotation of right and left throughout the novel. She brings up many major scenes where left and right is very relevant and play a major role in the story. She notes the connotation of “right” suggesting “virtue” and “left” suggesting “iniquity.” I will be using this source to help express the importance of understanding the change of connotation for the sides
