What is/are the themes revealed in the literary piece?
The three stories have its own uniqueness and style in telling and showing a lesson that a man/woman could get. As I read through the story, THE PILGRIMS PROGRESS catches my attention, and somehow the story is where I can relate with.
THE PILGRIMS PROGRESS theme may differ from other individuals, based on how they understand and process the story. For me there are three themes that I could conclude in the story, as listed:
JOURNEY- Bunyan writes the allegory entirely as a journey, the themes greatly focused of the journey of the pilgrim: Christian, Christiana, Faithful, and Hopeful, are the main characters that were presented who are travelling towards the celestial city-which salvation …show more content…
In the story Christian reach the Celestial City because of reading and understanding Bible and the certificate. By reading the bible he does not gain only knowledge but he gains lessons which he can apply in his everyday living. The bible can strikes pain into the believer who has strayed from its message. For example, we all know that were all sinners but how could we not be sinners and get into heaven? Obviously through reading the bible, in bible you understand what happens through your life and almost everything. In the theme JOURNEY it relate well with people, because every human has its own journey to become fulfill as a man and a woman. through its journey , he/she will encounter a lots of problem that will bring his/her down. but if he/she is strong enough, brave and have faith in GOD . he/she will find what he/she search for.
In the theme THE IMPORTANT OF READING it is very significant and important to every individual to be aware and have a great knowledge about what he/she may encounter. reading is very important is social and culture because it is not just help in rising the internal and external factors of a nation, also if we tend to read what MUST BE READ, we will know exactly what are the answer to our
