Victor and the monster are actually both considered outcasts; Victor shuts out and loses all of his family and friends as the creature is ugly and he is thrown out by even his creator. Next, they both are not similar physically and socially, but their thought pattern and intent towards humanity and ambitiousness make them similar, like them same side of a coin. Also, they both have a passion for learning new things such as: reading, writing, speaking is the monster as for Victor he wanted to learn anything science related. The monster can be taken as a expression of Victor Frankenstein’s self. The monster and Victor by the end of the story had the same love and compassion for many things even if throughout the entire story they were both seeking revenge on each other they both wanted the same thing in life just to be loved and even if they could not find someone to get them love they needed they still had each other. The similarities for nature is: Victor loves science, science is a part of nature, also Victor had to go into nature to dig up body parts to make the monster, after the monster was created the monster spent most of his time days living in the forest rustling for food, shelter and everything else in between.
