Stereotypes In The Movie 'Crash'

Stereotype is when someone judges other by their behavior or their physical appearance and assuming the whole race would behave the same way. In the movie crash the author exposed quite a few faces of stereotypes such as African have a tendency to steal from others or own a gun, Latin always try to cheat on others and Asian are bad drivers.
In the beginning of the movie where a white couple encountered two black men the woman immediately wraps around her husband’s arm, which show that she scared of the two men. She’s racial prejudice them because she already feel fearful by looking at their skin color. When the couples got into their car, the two black men hijack their car and ran off. Later when the couples got home, the husband asked a Latino locksmith to change their door lock; nevertheless, the wife insisted her husband to change the lock again tomorrow morning because she claims out loud that the Latino locksmith will sell their keys to others. In the movie where a Persian man who own a shop, hiring the same Latino locksmith who got discriminate by a white couple to fix his door’s lock. The locksmith replaced the lock, but the door itself needs to be changed. When the locksmith asked the Persian man to pay for the lock only and told the man to ask someone else to replace the door, he did not understand what the locksmith said due to lack of English; therefore, the Persian man called the Locksmith a cheater which make the locksmith angry and leave without payment. The next day, someone robbed the shop and left a message saying that the Persian man is Arab. Even not know who robbed the shop, since the Persian man have prejudice against the Latino locksmith as someone who try to cheat on him, he assuming that the Latino locksmith robbed his
