The revolutionaries want better wages, more food, better life conditions and they want the revenge from who oppressed them, so the reasons that the French Revolution turned into a bloody one is the lack of justice that led to the extreme and destructive anger and the seeking for revenge. The revolution erupts in July 1789 with the storming of the Bastille. By 1792, the revolutionaries have taken control of France and are imprisoning and killing anyone they view as an enemy of the state and seek the Guillotine as a measure of revenge. “The grindstone had a double handle, and, turning at it madly were two men, whose faces, as their long hair flapped back when the whirlings of the grindstone brought their faces up, were more horrible and cruel than the visages of the wildest savages in their most barbarous disguise.
