She realizes the racial aspect Paul’s internal conflict, along with how much he just wants to be loved. Paul wants nothing more than to be apart of the Kittredge family. He longs for money, acceptance, love, and affection. The antagonist of Six Degrees of Separation is Paul and I believe the protagonist is Louisa. Paul is the opposed character throughout the play and Louisa’s character changes her opinion to sympathy towards him, rather than hate. In my opinion, the play exceeded my expectations. I did not expect the actors to perform in a way that made me believe his or her conflict. The setting was well thought out and complimented the dialogue in a way that made me pay more attention to the conflict. The painting also added to the setting by focusing on the art aspect of the play. I also enjoyed the humor of the play. Overall, I enjoyed Six Degrees of Separation and would recommend
