William Shakespeare’s tragic play Romeo and Juliet, informs us that too much pride can lead to problems in the future. The character Tybalt exemplifies this principle by wanting to kick the Montagues out, and by always looking for a fight with the Montagues. He is a Capulet and they don't get along well with the Montagues. Tybalt’s love for fighting and the pride he has for his family and himself leads him to his death. Tybalt shows his love for fighting when he gets into a fight in the beginning of the play “ What drawn, and talk of peace? I hate the word as I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee” (Act 1, Scene 1). This quote says how much he hates all Montagues. He hates them so much he compares them to hell. His family the Capulets hate all
