Power and status may bring initial success, but eventually it will make people evil and damage relationships. In William Shakespeare’s play Macbeth, the titular character wants to become a king; he become so evil that everyone is scared of him. Although, he is evil to his friends and family, he still succeeds in becoming king. King Duncan and Macbeth is “Cousin (friend)” in the play, but after he wins the battle against, he decides to kill King Duncan to become the next king. Banquo and Macbeth are friends and comrades in battle, after they both meet the Witches Banquo feels little jealous of Macbeth’s bright life, and starts to consider Macbeth sends murderer to kill Banquo when he knows Banquo’s son is going to take the throw away.
