Theme Of Perseverance

“A river cuts through a rock not because of it’s power, but of its persistence.” - The Things We Say. When you hear this quote, you know right away that the theme of this book is perseverance however, this is not the only theme. Some other themes include friendship and hard work. These are the themes because Michael and the electroclan have to persevere through many challenges. An example of perseverance is when the electroclan is about to be captured by the Elgen. Even though they are about to die, they still think of a way to kill the rats. The perseverance shows because they do not give up hope and the plan ends up working.
Another example of perseverance is when Ostin has to find out where the Elgen are keeping Michael’s mom. He has to
