In the beginning of the story it talks about a short family. BUT!!!! a tall man he always got told that he was going to be tall. Ever since he was small he was born and his parents admitted that he was going to be tall. The theme of this story is never back down! This book is very complicated to understand you have to look for the things and try to make a common connection with it. The second paragraph Tree thought that if he ever went to his mom's house she was going to make fun of him. Since he is a really tall guy and when he went to his mom's house he hit his head in the roof. His mom didn't want to stop laughing and talking bad about him . This is why the theme clicks with my thoughts he had to stand tall and face his problems this
