For example, in the beginning of the novel the first event Kyra goes through is when Delaney hits Candido with his car and then he calls her and tells her what happened, her first initial reaction was if her son was okay so that's the first things she asked about, but then the thing that topped all that was her having anxiety and fear because of she was worried about her own reputation at that time. Kyra was worried about her reputation because of her business mainly, she was determined to become the best real estate agent for the fourth year in a row, and she didn't want anything to affect her job not just that situation anything that she would do or come across she would be very cautious.
