Romeo is loyal to Juliet because he tries to get to her even when he was banished. Juliet is from a family that is having a feud with Romeo’s family. So they have to go and sneak around with each other so their families don’t hear about it. The nurse gives Juliet advice in what she should do in the story but conflict arises near the end since she is telling Juliet to marry Paris and forget Romeo. Friar Laurence is a huge help in getting them married since he marries them. He also has to act like he never married them when Paris ask him to marry him and Juliet together. They are going to need all the help they can receive in getting together. Shakespeare has a unique way of writing so instead of “you” he would use “thou”. The play is a tragedy because, in the end, everything goes wrong. Romeo shows that he is loyal in which he tries anything to get with Juliet. …show more content…
In the balcony scene, Juliet asks Romeo how he got over the wall. He said, “With love’s light wings did [he] o’erperch these walls” (Ⅱ,ⅱ, 66). Romeo also shows loyalty in which he was willing to fight Paris just to go and be in the Capulet tomb with her. When the prince had banished Romeo he had stayed at Friar Laurence’s in which the nurse told him he needs to spend the night with Juliet since he had just married her. Romeo went to her house even after killing her cousin so if he were to be found there he would be killed so it was very risky for him to go and visit Juliet.
