What does it mean to be isolated? Is it a good thing or a bad thing? It's both, but I'm saying why it's a good thing my resources are from the book “The Giver”, so I strongly believe that isolation is a good thing because it can cause people to make their own decisions, they can become more independent, in addition they can become more aware of things that are not important for example getting distracted by their phones, they can be more aware of the things that are around them. Jonas is curious as to where they get sent and what happens to them, but unfortunately children were not allowed to attend the function. Jonas also becomes more aware of the rules and his ceremony of 12 and what his speech has to be like and he is a worried because he doesn't know what to say and he is becoming more aware of what he is going to do when he is past the ceremony of 12 and what he is going to do when he is a little bit older, he is worried about what he is going to do after his ceremony and later on in
