This concept angered Chris even though he judged people as well. “If you can't lose the weight, then you're just fat, but if you lose too much then you're on crack. You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't, so you might as well just do whatever you want.” The main point of this verse is that you are going to be judged no matter what you do so you shouldn't dwell on it. This is what Chris realized during his college career by people watching, in the sketchy parts of his town, and in his schools. “Make lots of noise, kiss lots of boys, or kiss lots of girls if that's something you're into. When the straight and narrow gets a little too straight, roll up the joint, or don't. Just follow your arrow wherever it points, yeah, follow your arrow wherever it points.” The concept of the chorus is for people to do what they want without fear of judgement and just follow what you believe is correct for yourself and do it.
