Now as Jack is leader the boys views of priorities have changed and the boys now focus on brutal pig hunts, which brings out the boys savagery. When arriving first on the island all Jack wanted to do was hunt the pig he first saw but Ralph wanted to work on getting shelter and rescued by JAcks newly named chief priorities are different. All Jack wishes to do is kill pigs which influences the others and which later progress. When first catching the big and showing the boys the win, they have created a chant “kill the pig, cut her throat, bash her in (Golding 75). This action of the boys killing the first pig shows how their savagery just started of, Jack and his tribe start to chant this after every kill following their first kill. The boys yelling this chant creates an imagery to the reader of what they are doing the pig but also show the savagery that they boys were able to unleash since there is nobody telling them no and they boys are able to unleash the inner savagery darkness within them. The pig hunt was the first unleashing of the inner savagery that the boys have had in them that they were able to unleash that part deep within them. Through the things that the boys have gone through made an impact on them on the overall experiences that they have gone through. At the end of the book a British navy officer had come and saw a fire and came to rescue the boys when the officer has come to the island and found the boys is was an emotional moment for them. When the boys had all gather the boys were all in shock. They all stood there “tears began to flow” (Golding 202). This quote illustrating the boys final moment on the island and looking back on the destruction that they have caused and the madness that they had created. Looking back on what the island first was to the boys t was a playground to their eyes but then it became a hell in the eyes of some. It was a ruthless place and looking back on on the time they have spent together it is a breakdown of emotion and regret and this quote is showing the effect the being on this land had on the boys. Therefor looking back on all the events that have happened on the island at the end of story the effects on the boys of the events have ad a great impact on them.
Like Marilyn Manson said the boys did have hatefulness, showed greediness and craved lust, and which you can see throughout the story. In all on the island the boys being in isolation from the world caused the boy's inner dark side show through and do acts that they never would do if they wouldn't have been
