They ensure that everyone’s beliefs and preferences are respected and celebrated (Louise Petty, 2016). Equality means that everyone in the world should be treated the same and should all be able to share opportunities regardless of whom they are. Diversity means celebrating that everyone in the world is different, and embrace the different qualities everyone offers and treating those qualities and beliefs respectfully (Louise Petty, 2016). Ethics are moral principles. They are always different depending on how someone lives their lives this could be depending on someone’s religion or beliefs (Bbc.co.uk, 2016). There are many different debates associated with Ethics such as abortions, capital punishment, contraception, and euthanasia. Ethics affect the way human’s life their lives and makes them question what’s good and bad? Many people disagree about moral issues because people have different beliefs (Bbc.co.uk, 2016). Abortion debate is it morally acceptable to have an abortion? Many Catholics/Christians believe that abortion is always wrong as it says in the bible. People who say abortion is wrong would argue that at the beginning of conception therefore a human life, the foetus is an innocent human being and not giving the child a chance in life (Bbc.co.uk, 2016). Arguments for would suggest that the women have rights as it’s her body and she has the right to decide. There may be circumstances where the woman can’t look after a child and it wouldn’t be right to bring them into the world. The mother’s health could be in danger if she gave birth to a child. People also question whether abortion should be legal or illegal? (Bbc.co.uk, 2016) Abortions can be legal and illegal depending on the circumstances. There is a maximum age after that the foetus cannot be aborted as its said to be a human life which can breathe by itself (Bbc.co.uk, 2016).
