Frodo was cornered by the Ringwraiths and was stabbed in the stomach. The blade he was stabbed with turns him into one of the Ringwraiths. Aragorn tries to find a way to save but the only way is to bring him to Rivendell to the elves. Arwen insists she takes Frodo, as she can ride like the wind and get across the river to help. She leaves as fast as can and gets chased by all nine Ringwraiths but that's not gonna bring down her determination to get Frodo safe. She gets him to safety and saves his life. The fact the she could have lost her life in that situation shows a great deal of determination, and someone who is very trustworthy. The significance of this event is a huge deal. If Arwen did not show up Frodo would have turned into a Ringwraith and could have killed Aragorn, Sam, Merry and Pippin. Sauron would have received the ring and Middle Earth would be taken over by Sauron and his armies.
In conclusion all these events show great determination in the characters and the strength in them. Shows how the significance of these events could have gone different or a lot worse. Lord of The Rings is a great movie and shows many great examples of determination. It also shows the importance of these events and how determination affects them. People who have determination can also have great leadership skills and courage and are very trustworthy as well. The firmness of purpose is a powerful
