Some may say that his actions were morally unjust, and they may be right, but I think that he did those unmoral things for what he thought was best for Rome. I think he used fear and violence as a way to control the people. However, back then that was the only good idea that was a somewhat successful way to control people. Overall, I think Julius Caesar was trying to do right for Rome but doing wrong things in the process.

Many of Caesar’s assassins were just jealous of him and unsatisfied with the recognition that they got from him. Some were mad that they had received few honors and Caesar had received many honors for the work that he had done for Rome and the Roman Republic. The motives of his assassins were very vague as to why they wanted him dead and they didn’t know what they were going to do after they had killed Caesar. Most of the things that Caesar did for Rome were to improve it for the people and to improve the Roman Republic and to make the government run like he wanted.
