Theme Of Conflict In Tangerine

Three types of conflict i have seen in tangerine so far is nature and man vs man and both of these conflicts help drive a plot in the novel.

One conflict in the novel tangerine i have seen so far is the sinkhole this is an example of man vs nature. In the novel on page 81 it states “No! Sinkhole! Man its a sinkhole!” this quotes explains they are being affected by a sinkhole. This conflict helps drive the plot of the novel because the sinkhole damage resulted in paul transferring to a new Tangerine middle while lake windsor middle is building a safer school with better structure. So that this won't happen again.
