It is an abstract concept everyone has to decide for themselves. In the novel Ender’s Game, Orson Scott Card decides to write about different forms of beauty. We can identify this in three main aspects of the novel. Compassion, as it is shown through the protagonist’s traits and feelings. His skill to understand the enemy like no other does, as he truly worships them. Also Ender’s bond to Valentine, as their love for another keeps them strong. His love for her makes him stay in Battle School and makes him fight for her safety. Finally, the beauty throughout the games and the concept of war by the soldiers/children is reflected in the Battle school scenes and their surroundings.
