The Middle East is a very diverse region with many countries and many ethnic groups. The Middle East is a giant melting pot of ethnic groups and different people. The main thing the Middle East that is diverse is religion.
There are many different types of religions, for example some of them are Islam, Christianity, and Judaism etc. Even though many religions a prominent some of the most prominent are Christianity and Islam. These two religions are very similar but also very different. If you are able to compare the two this difference and clear.

Christianity by far has more followers than Islam. This shows that there are more Christians in the world than Muslims. There is also a difference in origin Christianity is a lot older than Islam due to the fact that Islam has originated after the death of Jesus. The final difference is the holy books the Christians have the bible while the Muslims have the Qur’an. Though they serve the same purpose they are not completely the same in that aspect.
Even though there are many differences there are also many similarities between the two religions. A similarity is that even though the differences vary the two religions are some of the largest religions in the world with Christianity being the in first and Islam in second. Another similarity is holy book, even though the books are different there can also be many similarities. Some similarities are that they provide the believers with a copy of the Holy Scripture so they can pray and worship as they please.
