Thematic Content Analysis: Home Care

Home Care (HC) is envisaged as a substitute modality within the model of care in our country. Nevertheless, it is assumed that the supply of HC programs faces challenges to meet the health needs of the population. In light of this, the objective was to analyze the organizational arrangements of HC from the perspective of professionals of the teams, taking into account the relationship between supply, demand and health needs. This is a descriptive-exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, based on the theoretical-methodological framework of dialectics. Data were obtained from interviews with professionals working in 15 Home Care Services of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and then submitted to the Thematic Content Analysis. Two categories were raised:
