In the Arabian desert 1916, Theeb shows barefoot with his brother Hussein who is watering the camel. Hussein trying to teach Theeb how to use the weapons and after a period of time of playing together they go to their tribe. The story begins with the arrival of two men pm to the Sheikh house, who is the son of Sheikh Abu Hammoud and the larger brother. The guests are two men one of them is a British soldier wearing a military uniform and the other is wearing Arab clothing. The officer is carrying a wooden box, which raises Theeb's nosiness. Hussein is asked to guide them to the Roman well, next to the strategic Ottoman railway. Theeb wants to join them, but his brother prevent and leave him with their big brother. Am, on their way to the railway station they pass by bodies of rebels on the both sides of the railway, says that, this is the work of English men. They reach the railway station, which is decorated by Ottoman Empire flags. Hassan Hides the English weapon in the camel saddle and asks the boy to stay out and wait for him and enters into the station but Theeb follows him. Theeb sees him stealing the English man’s belongings he decide to revenge for his brother. The officer then come out a bag of money and give him the money and gives Theeb pieces after being told by Hassan that the young boy is his son and his companion. But Theeb refuse the money and rush out to the camel saddle and took out the English pistol and pointed it toward the door of the station, without fear or hesitation, waiting out Hassan to faces him. They met face to face, without any word from anyone of them, Theeb shoots Hassan dead. He surrounded by the chief and soldiers, says (he killed my brother) then the Ottoman chief lets him go.
