Theater Internship In Nashville

I would absolutely love to do a theater internship in Nashville. Theater is my passion, so I take every opportunity I can to be a part of it. Although technical theatre is not my cup of tea, I did enjoy learning about some of the things. To find employment opportunities dealing with scenic painting I went to google and typed in “jobs that require scenic painting.” Surprisingly, I found more than I would have thought.…

Others see it as a person who uses their creative energy and unleashes it for others to enjoy. To me, the true artist is someone who is able to control their creativity and use it to contribute to the greater good.…

Indeed, since Judith and Shakespeare were from the same household, one would assume both of them would be sent off to a university or college to pursue a higher education, but this was not the case. Shakespeare was sent to London for a higher education to study applications of Latin, grammar, and logic while exploring his fascinations of the world. However, Women during this time period were not considered in inferior and not vsignificant enough to have an education, and having no money, they could not provide themselves with one. Doing tremendous amounts of research at the beginning was pretty difficult, because as a Hendrix student, I was required to finish all of the research during the week of my final exams. Paige, my boss, was extremely helpful, and when I mentioned I was having trouble finding information she recommended three books from the UCA library for me to read. Jeremy, my director, also knew what direction to lead me in, and I easily found research that pleased him. When I presented my research to the cast and crew, they seemed very impressed, so I think I did well.…

While it is true that most who are in the theatre did join for this very reason, there are some points where the similarities of watching and participating detour into major differences. I preface this with a brief glimpse into my background. First off, I was not an actor.…

Not many of Shakespeare’s plays contain a female character in the lead role position. Therefore, when female characters have a prominent role in plays it is something to pay attention to. For instance, in Measure for Measure, Isabella’s character serves to break down the patriarchy by using their own constructs to emphasize how outrageous their ideas are. Isabella does this by falling into one of the three categories that the patriarchy says women belong to. In this society, women are either maid, widow, or wife and problems occur when women do not fall into one of the three defined categories.…
