The Zombie Horror Genre: Not Dead Yet The leaves are beginning to change color, there’s a chill in the air, and costume stores are cropping up around town. It’s that time of year again, the season premiere of The Walking Dead. Fresh after the conclusion of the spinoff series Fear the Walking Dead fans of the zombie horror genre are once again treated to their favorite brand of television entertainment. The Walking Dead follows the protagonist Rick and his group of survivors through perilous adventures in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by the living dead after a mysterious outbreak. The overwhelming success of the show has led to a spinoff series titled Fear the Walking Dead which takes place before the events of the main show and features
