Many artists in the world have their own unique tastes and styles in music. Some contribute towards the beat and flow of the song while others focus more on the depth and relatability of the lyrics. It Celine Dion 's, “Because you Loved me,” she speaks of how she was lost within herself and the struggles of bearing the weight of life. She also speaks about how a particular person gave her the love she needed to propel her through life 's obstacles. She sang about how because of him, she could face weakness that was in front of her and how she could do all things thanks to his support. Readers and hearers across the planet can relate and be involved in these song lyrics through the memories and current states that they 're going through. …show more content…
Celine might be referring to her world as happy because of the memories they had together and the strong backbone of their friendship has made her life happy. Apart from the last line, Celine uses past tense words to convey how their love used to be but now is not. “You were always there for me. The tender wind that carried me.” She uses imagery to deliver to her audience how tender their love was, even so that she compares him to wind, carrying her through the trials that life presented her with. Always being there for her, much like how wind is always present when outside, surrounding the body with its flow and its weather. She continues her song by singing, “A light in the dark, shining your love into my life. You have been my inspiration. Through the lies, you were the truth.” Celine compares her lover to a light shining through even the tiniest cracks, and into her life. Before this, her life was dark, and she couldn 't see much at all. She couldn 't see past the obstacles that faced her and she felt lost without guidance. Thanks to this person, she can now see through everything that was blocking her sight in life. By inspiration, she most likely refers to how their ended relationship gives her inspiration that one day, love may be found again with someone else. “He was an honest person who she looked up too and wanted to be better for.”(Doradynov). Her lover had given her an insight of how happy and amazing love could be and she hopes that one day, true love might find her once more. To summarize, this verse in her song talks about the life lasting impacts that this man had on her and how because of this, she is given hope that one day, she can live on with another guy perfectly in love

Thus, despite his liaisons he always finds himself coming back to her. Yet, she is not content with this relationship. Her repetition of “I can do this” comes with a lack of sincerity. Just because she comes off as pure and sweet does not make it so. She clearly desires the man in the poem, she clearly disapproves of his womanizing.…

Jessica Risner Heather Ward English 1101-41 October 5, 2015 “Love You Forever” Literary Analysis One of my favorite stories to read to my daughter is “Love You Forever” by Robert Munsch. The story is about a mother who sneaks into her son’s room, once he is sleeping, and sings a song to him. She sings to him these words “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be (pg. 14).” My favorite part about this story is that once her son is a teenager, and even a grown adult, she still sneaks into his room and sings her song to him.…

There's no denying that John Legend is one of the strongest standing balladeers left that made modern mainstream music still susceptible to pure emotions of love and feelings. It is with John Legend that we heard songs reminiscent of the effect that Boyz II Men and Babyface showered us during the bountiful industry of the 1990s---saccharine-rich tracks that's certainly difficult to go unnoticed. In just a couple of years, John Legend managed to establish his own placement as a respected and relative pop icon, and with the latest album that he released, he further cemented his fame to stability. John Legend's innate capability to connect with his audience had done him so well during the course of his career, and putting love as a strong emotional push helped him to keep his momentum all-flowing.…

Throughout my lifetime, there has been moments of laughter as well as grief. But a moment in my life that was pivotal was when I first felt the love of my life, at the moment, fade away slowly from me and sort of detach from our relationship. The song by Christian Nodal- “Adios Amor” showed me how at times when the love fades between partners to the point where there is no love at all, you have to do your best to move on rather than spending time grieving the love that is lost. Therefore, the song “Adios Amor” gave me the tough realization that some relationships are best to let go of if they don’t work as a young adult, and will continue to guide me throughout my life.…

To begin with, Demi Lovato’s lyrics in “Stone Cold” as well as William Butler Yeats’ in his poem “Never give all the heart” are only alike in the aspects of their themes, speakers, and the device of end rhyme. To begin with, the two pieces share the theme, Heartbreak of Betrayal, as both writers express emotions of the pain that came from their previous relationship. For example, in Lovato’s song, she sings about her past relationship that is now broken due to her partner moving on to another woman. Similar to this, Yeats writes about how women will break the heart of anyone who puts their all into a relationship. Furthermore, another device that these pieces share is the speaker.…

Everyday, American teenagers, along with many others, are troubled with these issues. Many authors and writers have used examples in their literature however, it has failed to change all of the people’s views on tolerance and acceptance. So many authors and writers apply an example to their character or story to try to inform the world about how this is starting to overtake the world. Author used words such as “on and on”(line 11) to demonstrate the deepness and the intensiveness of the young man’s desire toward the woman. An image of the young man alone in the bed, “tossed from one side to another”(line 2) showed how much he suffered from loving the woman he was unable to get. This stanza conveyed sorrows and pains the man went through when the maiden he thought of day and night rejected him, and this created in a sad tone in contrast to the happy and exciting tone before. Nonetheless, starting from the fourth stanza, the tone seemed to move back toward the happy side of the scale. In line 16, “With harps we bring her company”, the young man shortened the distance between him and the maiden through playing harps.…
