The Yaqui territory is located in the Southwest region in the State of Sonora between the towns of Cajeme, Guaymas and Bácum . The Yaqui tribe is composed of eight villages, which are: Vícam, Pótam, Bácum, Huirivis, rahum, Belém, Tórim and Cócorit. The basis of social organization is nuclear, monogamous, inbred family; within the interior of the family, the elderly play an important role. The highest authority is the father who is the breadwinner, has interference in the informal education of children and collaborates in some domestic activities.

They develop the components of the clothing and accessories of their dancers: deer head and masks; necklaces; Chapayeca rosaries or Pharisee; belts and tenabaris; huajes or rattles; drums and scrapers; violins and harps among others. They also make furniture made from wood and leather, such as tables and stools, etc. Women make and embroider their traditional dress apparel (shawls, blouses, skirts) and dolls representing their ethnicity.
Yaqui room is quite simple. It usually consists of three sections: bedroom , kitchen and arbor or portal. The structure is mesquite pitchforks planted on the floor and walls of woven reeds. The roof is made of reeds and mats, covered by a layer of soil. The core business of the Yaqui economy is agriculture, which works 95 percent of the population. A curious fact found was that the Racism had been presented long ago, going back to colonial times, when people were outside their office as their skin color. Also ells rise of the Ku Klux Klan, and do not forget what is called shame of the twentieth century: Hitler. Finally it is believed that racism does not make sense because if you know people of other nationalities, has a culture different from yours, you have much to learn and discover new worlds and new horizons. All are believed to have some racists, and we fully understood the racist term that we handle, because already mentioned above mind that here in Mexico is not skin color but the social status which is more marked which defines you as a person within a community. And we're not one to refuse to humble or as we say "Indian" on the contrary should have a more open mind and a time to turn away or see them as freaks we should learn from them.
