The Wrong Pathway: A Short Story

1 . According to the story, you must have “brains in your head and feet in your shoes” so “you can steer yourself any direction you choose”. You must know what you want to do and be able to decide where you want to go. You must be smart enough not to “go down any not-so-good street”. You must be able to take risks and be adventurous so you can “head straight out of town” and “join the high fliers who soar to high heights”. I have some of these skills like the obvious brains in your head and feet in your shoes. Although, I don’t have all because sometimes I second guess myself on taking risks. 2. “You won’t lag behind, because you’ll have the speed. You’ll pass the whole gang and you’ll soon take the lead. Wherever you fly, you’ll be best of the best. Wherever you go, you will top all the rest”. A good path to me would be a career that makes you happy. …show more content…
In the story, it says we get into a depressed like state thinking that we can’t accomplish anything and we get stuck waiting for something better to happen. What we should do is try to find that bright place in our life. If I were to have taken the wrong path, than I would take take some time to recollect myself and try and find something that makes me
