The World’s Most Powerful Leadership Principle novel by James C Hunter has really inspired me to become the best leader I can in my career. It has given me some of the best advice I have ever received before. Also, this novel provided some good valid points on how I should behave as a leader. I have learned so much compared to what I knew before reading this novel. I appreciate the fact that I had the chance to read and fully understand the concept of the main purpose of this novel. James C Hunter did a well job in explaining his point of view based on the subject.

Put another way, when people begin loving others through their efforts and behavior, God has the opportunity to work in the lives of both the giver and the receiver.” This quote was very inspiring to me. When I think about a leader I think of someone who has power yet is compassionate to their employees. I have experience some negative and awful leaders who use their power in a negative way. When people have power they start to think their better than everyone else and they can treat you how they want without having any consequences.
However, with the negative experiences I have had with

My future job will be about making sure everyone is happy and getting the support they deserve. I will make it my job every day to establish a good healthy environment for everyone to work in. However, it will help if everyone is in the same page and want to reach the same goal as well. I consider myself a person who enjoys helping others and making others happy. I always tend to think about the next person and then myself. I like people to be happy even if that means I’m not happy. I dislike when people are upset, I try my best to keep everyone

The main idea of the book I choose the book “Act like a leader, think like a leader, by Herminia Ibarra, which is inspirational read for everyone who has a passion for leading. Ibarra, redefines the traditional leadership notion of “think first, and then act’’ by acting first and then thinking. She described The “Outsight Principle” which is the mine idea of this book. Through the implementation of the “outsight principle”, Ibarra believes that one can improve or develop into an effective leader. This principle attests that the only way to think like a leader is to first act it out and that is to come out of ones’ comfort zone by start doing changes and more experiences.…

A leader should be someone you look up to and who does the right thing. Anyone can be a leader, but to be a good leader you must be honest, respectful, kind and you must take responsibility of your actions whether they are right or wrong. Leadership and service go hand in hand. Leaders must serve the people they are leading. If a leader does not give back to the people he or she serves they are likely not doing a very good job of showing others how to act responsibly or what values are necessary to making their environment better.…

From someone not under the responsibility of a leadership role, it may seem like a wonderful job, since they can escape from the usual workload that a non-leader has to put up with, and have authority over others. Yet, they tend to overlook the amount of dedication and self-evaluation that a leader has to go through in order for their group to succeed. One must better and uphold themselves to a high standard in order to be an efficient leader, and not for power alone. They must have a wide knowledge of their position and patience to help others in case an issue or situation arises. When things go wrong, the leader, not the group, is blamed, and often is the one that pays for the consequences that their peers have done under their watch.…

Leadership Kathy Dunlap Bethel University MOD 310 April 24, 2017 Kameke Payne Leadership No one theory of leadership has ever been accepted by all, but the common thought of leadership is that it is an influence process, occurs within a group, involves goals, and attainment. Some people think leaders are born with a trait that innately makes them leaders, while others theorize that it is a characteristic of an individual, but we have learned that leaders are a product of their development and life experiences. Leaders are concerned with understanding people’s beliefs and gaining their commitment. They function without focusing on the opinions of others, which allows them to think of new ideas and motivate others to develop these…

What is leadership? Leadership can be traced back millions of years; one could postulate that the first forms of life on earth showed forms of leadership. For instance, Insects show leader ship behaviors with their foraging skills, as do birds with flocking. Thus, people from ancient times to now have tried to explain where leadership is derived. Consequently, there are seven theories that have been composed to explain leadership, great person, trait, behavioral, situational, contingency, transactional, transformational, and big five theories; each theory building upon the other and the ever advancing definition of leadership.…
