This is my paper on the desert. It is one of the harshest environments. It is empty, arid, and quiet. A bit too quiet for most people. You will die if you do not have water with you if you go hiking in the desert. If you live there though it is no big deal, because you obviously live in a settlement of some sorts. The desert is a strange place, but I love it because I live in the desert. It is like an alien world to most people. That's why some sci-fi movies have been filmed there. For example, the original 4th and 6th Star Wars movies were filmed in Death Valley.
In a town in the Mojave Desert, the average temperature in the summer is about 105 degrees fahrenheit. But at night it can drop to freezing 29 degrees fahrenheit. The world's deserts
