Personal morals are an essential to making a person who they are. Without morals people would lose their unique factor. For instance, a supposed friend offers them a cigarette, and the friend knows that they do not like smoking. A true friend would not push the other to try a cigarette. Pushing these kind of things will lead to differences in the relationship. Pushing opposing morals will also offend the friend and cause the friends to drift apart. There will always be a better friend who will accept the person for who they are and will not push them to do things that they do not want to do. A person will be criticized for not wanting to fall into peer pressure. The absolute best thing for a true friend to do is to tell their friend that they respect their decisions and that they will be there for them. Accepting the friend 's personal morals will keep both parties
