There was a line that wrapped all around the building and around the next, so we knew that something good had to be inside. Waiting in line my brother and I were trying to figure out what was happening inside by peeking through the windows and talking to the people around us. The young couple behind us said that there was some type of show that went on inside and that was why it was taking so long. I couldn 't imagine what show they could make of a wand shop but I was intrigued so we stayed in line. As we were waiting my mom, brother, and I had began talking about what we were going to buy as our souvenir from Hogwarts. My brother had decided that he was going to get a wand and since he was going to get one, there was no point in getting a wand myself. It was a dark room with only enough light to be able to see the silhouette of an elderly man organizing some of the wand boxes in the room. We waiting for a minute or two watching him shuffle around the room placing each box in it 's right spot, the room was silent and all eyes were on the mysterious figure. The man finally turned around and we saw his face and long beard for the first time. He looked directly at me and said "Ah yes, I have been waiting for you. Welcome to Ollivanders, I am the wand keeper." He went on to ask me my name and he told me that he already knew that this was my first wand because he simply didn 't recognize me.
