Importance Of Pain In My Life

Throughout life, we will always experience certain emotions but in different ways and form, some of those emotions are happiness, love, sadness and pain. This is the part of my life where i have experienced pain so much, that it became an obstacle in my life, which felt like it was impossible to overcome. The pain i went through wasn 't "ordinary", it wasn 't from a cut or emotional break up but something more menacing, it was cancer. To understand what i went through, we need to start from the beginning. We need to go to the time before my world turned black and gloomy, a time where i looked at the world in a rose color attitude. It all started last year on October 19, the day when my world shattered into many pieces; it was the day that …show more content…
So the next day we went to the specialist in Methodist hospital; i remembered the thoughts that were going through my mind. I was thinking about how crowded the room would be and the stench of fear would be everywhere in the waiting area. As i opened the door, the first thing that i noticed first was the murmur i heard, it sounded like they were talking to their loved ones or family members about their day or talking about the doctor and the office. I took a few steps in and i would walked to the glass panel to sign in for my appointment. As i was walking, i noticed their eyes were focused on me but i knew why they were looking at me not because of how i look but how young i was. After i written my name down on the piece of paper, i realized that it smell bad and smelt like a old people, it was a weird odor. The atmosphere was sad and depressing, the air was tense, it felt like the air in the waiting room was pressurized. Everything was tense in that room, if you would 've sneezed, everyone 's eyes were on you and no one would say anything except for this one guy who sat in the corner of the room. I waited for 2 hours and finally my name was finally called, i walked into the room and talked to the doctor about the condition i had and explained all the options i had. Then the doctor stated the best option i have is to do a 3 major surgery to remove the colon and recreate a "colon". But then there was another problem arising, i was 17 and still in high school and i have low immune system which would cause me to be weaker and would take a longer time to recover. We talked to the school board and they were being quite asinine towards me and it would made me frustrated but then my doctor had a plan. He stated to do radiation therapy for months and then on the day of graduation, i would have my surgery. Days turned into months and i would continue with the
