To be a good person, to me at least, one need try to be moral, by whatever standards fit one’s own definition. I think one also need to understand the personality traits that sets one back, and in doing so, one can make an effort to remedy them.
With such a vague definition, it might be hard to ask specific questions. I think a good question could be what causes do you care about the most and how do you fight for them? For me, I would say animal rights and the environment -- which can go hand in hand. And I try to fight for those causes by educating people on ways they can help the planet. I also don’t contribute money to brands or industries I feel exploit either of the two.
Another question could be as simple as what do you do, everyday or otherwise, to try and be good? Just like most people, I would like to consider myself a good person. Perhaps it’s naive and even hypocritical to claim this, but I do actively try to better myself every day. I know that I can be dogmatic at times, and I often get into foul moods and say things I probably shouldn’t. Conversely, I remind my friends to wear sunscreen everyday because I am worried about their health. I am always willing and ready to watch someone at a party and to make sure they get home okay. I think I give spectacular; I will sit down and listen to someone else's problems for hours. Many would say I am the “mom” of my friend group, and I love hearing that, because it shows to me that they think of me as responsible and caring and most importantly empathetic to their problems and, consequently, always willing to
