Discrimination against men and women in the workforce is something that has been an issue for some time now, and these issues also affect those with disabilities. Women with disabilities compared with women without disabilities wage show a large gap. While women with disabilities makes $5.83 an hour compared to a woman without disabilities making $11.28 an hour, shows the wage gap and type of discrimination for those women with disabilities. While men with disabilities are also discriminated against as well, it is fair to say that women with disabilities are subject to gender discrimination as well as being discriminated against due to their disability. The model we would start by looking into the areas of exploration, the following categories will be explored further. The first objective that would be looked into would be either being a younger or older age. Education would be looked into the training as well. The experience of the individual as well as in how long that person has been unemployed, employed or job seeking. The hours of worked recorded as well as experience in the workforce. The efforts of work, the job duties, (which tasks are done at the place of employment) the employment location and explained work conditions possibly environment, rules at work or co-workers. The last of the characteristics looked would be the size, region, and the industry. The second step is called regression analysis and estimates the characteristics in the earnings of the women. This step can be used to utilize and look into the individuals with disabilities that are women. After this is looked into, the characteristics of women producing the same work as men is then recorded and applied to the wage comparison and the reflection of same rate of
