(Winer, Thompson) An article on The Children ‘s Society states that nearly two-thirds of children living in the country’s poorest families say they are embarrassed as a result of not being able to afford the most important aspects of school overall leading them to be bullied in school. Bullying has become such an important issue in the world. Children today are picked on the majority of the time for the way they dress, or if their shoes are not a certain brand. I know many schools are discussing bullying to students; however I think this situation needs to be addressed more in the child’s home. As adults need to teach our children, that is it not ok for them to make fun or talk about someone because of what they have and don’t
