We wanted to hear out all of the options and proposals for the new government before making a decision. The first meeting the ANC, Nationalist Party and the Conservative Party got nowhere at all. Every party had their proposals and were set in their ways. No one wanted to compromise and were just too busy being heard then listening to one another. The ANC, had a specific plan it would not budget one way or another. The NP also had a plan that happened to be the complete opposite of the ANC and would not budge. Then the CP, did not have a plane because they were able to adjust their opinions and see where they wanted to vote. The ANC wanted a majority vote due to the fact that the group was a majority and would never lose. However, the ANC believed that they had the upperhand but forgot that, all of the individual parties can change their stance at anytime. If at anytime we do not believe with the purpose of the ANC, we can change our minds. The second day of meetings was again, we were getting nowhere. The National Party started to collaborate with the Conservative party to try and make a bigger group to get the upperhand on the ANC. The CP and the NP, came to an agreement and revealed the majority vote of the ANC. However, it was not until the ANC started to get more concerned on themselves that it made a difference in the vote. Two of the individual groups switched sides and then the votes really came down to the last straw. We the people believe that the ANC became too big for its britches and need to remember that the individual groups really are the deciding factors. The chair of the ANC have not given us the time of day and we strongly believe that if we stay with them we will not be getting the changes we want and need. When it comes to receiving want we want like social and economic power the NP and CP were there to listen while the ANC could not be bothered. The see us more of an hassle and not as a
