Coachella is well-known for its lineup and people have no doubt about this, “Unlike other large-scale music festivals, Coachella is touted as more broad-sweeping and far-reaching in its line-up.” The two festivals are very different because Coachella’s ticket costs a lot more than Woodstock, the price goes up to almost four hundred dollars while Woodstock only cost eighteen bucks or even free since the tickets could not be sold. In Woodstock, people had to stay in tents and sleep in there until the festival end. In contrary, getting to Los Angeles a day before the festival begins with an advanced ticket bought online and a hotel to stay in are what people must do in preparing for Coachella. Ferrer wrote, “Not only is Coachella a place to hear good music, it is a spot to be seen for bands and onlookers alike.” She concludes her article that these two festivals are trying to get “a balance between feeling free and approaching fierce.” Even though some people keep thinking and believing that Coachella and Woodstock are the same thing, there are still other persons who affirm that they are not alike at all and the conversations between these people are still going on an
