The Woods Runner

As I read the Woods Runner, I noticed many elements of the story that made it more engaging and easier for the audience to follow along. It was due to these elements that I found the Woods Runner to be an entertaining novel.
The story takes place during the time of the Revolutionary War. Samuel, a thirteen year old boy, who lives on a settlement in Pennsylvania discovered his parents had been kidnapped after an attack on their home. Samuel then embarks on a journey to find his parents. Throughout the book, Samuel meets many people that help him with his journey and he encounters many twists and turns.
One of my favorite things that the author did was he added a passage at the end of every chapter to help us build a better understanding of
