As a child you probably heard about the movie “Cinderella”, you may have even seen the movie, but did you know there were other versions of “Cinderella”? In fact, there are hundreds of different versions of the “Cinderella” story, but right now we are going to focus on two different ones, “Aschenputtel” and “The Wonderful Birch”. The story “The Wonderful Birch” comes from Russia and the story “Aschenputtel” comes from Germany, but even though these stories come from different places they still have similarities along with differences.
