Same Sex Video Analysis

(1) The major complaints men have, regarding their wives, according to the video, are that their wives do not participate in sexual activity enough. The men claim their significant others are not necessarily maintaining their sexual needs. Multiple men discuss that their wives do not give them enough relaxation/freedom/personal time/space or just simply more breaks to themselves. After a long day at work the men want to just be able to kick off their shoes, watch sports and be lethargic, instead of feeling attacked or, as mentioned by few of the men in the video, "nagged." Men mention that they do not feel appreciated for the work they do whether it is around the house or just going to work. When the men try to clean something their wives pick out every flaw possible and let their husband know it was not done right so the men just will not do it again because they do not feel appreciated. Various men explain that the wives talk too much, that they just want their wives to get to the point. These men believe that their wives elongate the story and it creates them to tune out and lose concentration. Generally the same problems will occur in every relationship, depending on who the people are. The same sex couple may not misunderstand each other as much as a straight couple would, simply because they are the same genders. Not only gender is a factor, though. Different people have there own ways of handling situations, showing affection, etc. For the most part, same-sex couples can definitely have the same issues as a heterosexual would. Having said that, perks of same sex couples are that potentially they can have similar thought processes which leads to better communication and so forth. It all depends on the type of individuals the couples
