Also known as, the Four Powers of the Witches’ Temple, the Witch’s Pyramid, is the basis for all magickal work, symbolizes the belief that is required to create magick and the traits to be accepted by all witches. It is the learning tool for pupils of the Craft. There are four declarations that epitomize The Witch’s Pyramid: To Know, To Will, To Dare, and To Keep Silent. It is the will, or self-control when performing with the skills that we have learned. This is the goal both in your magickal and in mundane life. You need to improve your skills as you work with magick. The manner a witch manages their life, their faith and obligation to any spell or ritual that they are performing, it is the ability to increase, achieve, and control the power, and maintain focus and intention. Some things are just better off not being said and silently assumed by the individual witch. Because of the reality that you know, you do not automatically have to say it. It also means to think before we speak. This can be one of the greatest challenging pillars to achieve. The spoken word can have such intense effects on others. We must make certain that we choose our words carefully so as not to harm others. At other times, we may need to keep silent with our opinions. There is power in remaining silent. When you invoke the gods, a still mind and clear channel is necessary for effective and powerful connections. The same as when invoking and receiving messages, there must be silence to hear the guided wisdom.
This is possibly the hardest part about the learning process. In terms of the Four Pillars when we’re speaking of magick, this is the power of keeping to yourself and not sharing your work with others whose resolve may work against you (because they don’t believe in what you’re doing, they want something totally different to what you want, it’s something they think is wrong, or they don’t believe it will
