The Witches Are To Blame For Macbeth's Downfall

Although in Macbeth many characters are at fall for his downfall, ultimately it's the witches who are at fault because they are the ones who planted the seed inside of his head, because if they had never even had talked to him, he would have never gone and told his wife about the prophecy,and his wife would have never pushed him to kill King Duncan, therefor many people contributed in Macbeth’s downfall, but in the end the witches are to blame for it.

Macbeth being a free willed man who could made his own decisions in life did and ultimately had the conscious of knowing right from wrong, but at least the once great warrior never had the slightest thought of killing his own king. Not knowing would have never made Macbeth thing how it would be if he would be king,it would have never mad lady Macbeth to push Macbeth to kill the king, and it would have never made Macbeth kill Banquo his best friend, because he was afraid of him becoming king or his children later on becoming royalty as well. Macbeth being a man of free will did and could make his own choices and he did when he decided both King Duncan and Banquo, but if he had never even had the idea of becoming king before,what changed his mind?
