The Witch of Blackbird Pond is about a girl named Kit who travels from Barbados to Connecticut Colony. There she stays with her Aunt Rachel, Mercy, Judith, and her Uncle Matthew. She goes through troubling times and then meets a woman named Hannah who is accused of witchcraft by the town. A bad sickness goes through the town and Hannah is thought to of made it happen. Hannah is put through troubling times as well as Kit. Meanwhile, Kit is teaching a girl named Prudence in secrecy, Kit later is sent to court to be accused of witchcraft.
